My Journey & The Heart Behind MindLyssMoments

About Me

Hi there! I’m Alyssa, a licensed mental health clinician and the creator of MindLyssMoments LLC. Sure, I have the credentials and trainings, but more importantly, I’m just a human being who has her fair share of ups, downs, and everything in between. My own mental health journey has been far from picture-perfect, and it’s shaped not only how I live but also how I work with others. Therapy isn’t about me being the all-knowing expert (spoiler alert: I don’t have all the answers). It’s about meeting people where they are, growing together, and learning to show ourselves the grace we all deserve.

I’m a big believer in honesty, vulnerability, and even a bit of humor to get through life’s challenges. Yes, the hard stuff is important, but so is finding the lightness — even when things feel heavy. That’s why I pour my heart (and a little bit of sass) into MindLyssMoments. It’s a space where mental health meets creativity, and where we can have real conversations about the messy, beautiful reality of being human.

Why I Started MindLyssMoments

Let’s face it — mental health struggles can be isolating. We live in a world where people either sweep their feelings under the rug or slap a “good vibes only” sticker on them. I wanted to create something that cuts through all that noise and reminds people they’re not alone in their experiences. Whether it’s a cheeky mug that says what you’re really thinking or a cozy blanket that wraps you up when the world feels overwhelming, every item I create is designed to bring a little comfort, a little validation, and maybe even a smile on a tough day.

MindLyssMoments isn’t about fixing people or solving all the world’s problems. It’s about connection. It’s about normalizing the conversations we’ve been told to avoid and breaking down the stigma that keeps too many people silent. If even one product sparks a laugh, a sense of comfort, or the courage to reach out for help, then I’ve done what I set out to do.

Together, let’s celebrate the messy, imperfect, and utterly human moments — and keep chipping away at the stigma around mental health, one mindful, meaningful moment at a time.
